What and who was Rock & Roll

Rock & Roll has and always will be a big part of the world. It makes music what it is today. It was started in the late 1940s and the eairly 1950s. It started here in the United States but later expanded all over the world. It is a combination of jazz, blues, jump blues, and gospel music. It also has country music and western swing. There also many important people from this type of music . Some important tributes are Elvis Presely, Carl Perkins, and Jerry Lee Lewis. They are the main three that drew the country roots. There are many other as well such as Little Richard Ritchie Vallens, and many others.
